We are seeking an experienced and skilled Dental Prosthetics Technician with proven expertise in both analogue and digital prosthetic workflows. The successful candidate will take a leading role in the production and quality assurance of implant and bar-retained overdentures, while supporting the continuous growth and innovation of our expanding laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate complete and partial dentures, immediate dentures, overdentures, and other removable prosthetic restorations to a consistently high standard.
- Plan and execute complex implant and bar-retained overdenture cases, from model analysis through to final fit and finish.
- Work confidently with both conventional and digital systems, including CAD/CAM software, 3D printing, and scanning technologies.
- Liaise directly with clinicians to discuss case design, materials, and technical considerations, ensuring clear and professional communication throughout the process.
- Carry out repairs, relines, and additions with precision and attention to detail.
- Maintain accurate records, case notes, and digital files within the laboratory’s workflow management systems.
- Contribute to workflow development and standardisation, helping to refine processes and maintain efficiency.
- Supervise or mentor junior technicians where appropriate, fostering a culture of quality, learning, and teamwork.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant laboratory standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Take ownership of personal workloads, meeting deadlines while maintaining exceptional craftsmanship.
